BAMA SAN ANTONIO is a chapter of the University of Alabama National Alumni Association. We want to extend a special invitation to alumni who have recently relocated to San Antonio and parents of students who wish to connect with fellow Crimson Tide fans in the Alamo City.

Membership dues and proceeds from chapter events support the mission of the chapter which is focused on scholarship development and promoting fellowship among alumni and supporters of the University of Alabama. As of 2020, the chapter has generated approximately $100,000 in endowed scholarship funds. The chapter supports three endowed scholarships- the William Alexander Gamble Endowed Scholarship, the San Antonio Texas Endowed Scholarship. and the Avery Johnson Endowed Scholarship.

For every scholarship dollar the chapter raises, we receive a 70-100 percent match from the University of Alabama National Alumni Association. Much of the match funds for our scholarships are provided by collegiate license plates sold in Texas.
